Warm up for each race will be open for entrants during the race preceding your race. You will have a 30 minute slot to warm up and there should be as many warm up machines as race machines. This means you will effectively be allocated your own warm up machine.  Please respect these time restrictions so all competitors get an equal chance to warm up.

As well as the warm up machines, the aim is also to have a warm up/stretching area with massage therapists on site for any warm up/cool down needs. This may be more useful during the day for those entering both races.

When?

Date : Sunday 20th September 2015. First race 10 am

Where?

Location: St Martin’s C of E Primary school in Cranbrook, Exeter
Facilities: Toilets, showers, changing rooms.
Transport links: A link to the venue is here, along with directions to the school. There is plenty of parking directly outside in the school car park. One thing to note is that Cranbrook is a newly built village and sat nav doesn’t pick up the exact location of the school as it still has it located as a field !! So please read the directions for the last few hundred metres. It is very simple.

Accommodation: Premier Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Gipsy Hill hotel are all extremely close to the M5 and the college. There are many other hotels and differring accommodation located around Exeter, all within 10 minutes travel time.

How to pay

You have two options: you can transfer your entrance fee directly to Fitness Matters Ltd. Make sure you complete the form below though so we can match your bank payment with your entry. OR, you can pay via online card payment/Paypal (there will be a small transaction fee to cover the cost of using this method to cover our charge).

Other details: For any other details regarding the event, or advice and support in training for either distance please email [email protected].

You can also join our Fitness Matters Indoor Rowing Group on Facebook – A virtual group for those interested in rowing in a friendly and competitive team. Plenty of advice and motivation on offer for all abilities. We also currently post a workout of the day (WOD) on our members forum, to help improve your rowing times. Leading up to the event these could really help you achieve a better time.
